Director – Medical Education

The role of Director Medical Education focuses on leading the Medical Education group of GPEx. The position includes the overall management of the development, delivery and evaluation of a high quality medical training program for registrars that will enable them to fulfil the educational requirements for the award of the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and/or the fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).

It also includes the management and development of the Medical Education Group, development and management of a sustainable and effective group of teaching posts and GP Supervisors, and development of educational programs, policies and procedures consistent with a regionalised and integrated structured approach to general practice training.

Online Learning Designer

The Education Systems team at GPEx delivers and manages online training and training related technology solutions. The Online Learning Designer is required to deliver the successful design and development of online learning modules for blended and online education programs. The key focus of this role will be on the design, development and delivery of innovative solutions for online courses using a range of technologies, online platforms and collaborative learning environments. The position will use both creative and technical principles and methodologies oriented to best practice learning and teaching pedagogies, and will be guided by GPEx’s Digital Strategy.

Education Support Officer

The Education Support Officer is responsible to the Manager Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) for the provision of support within the AGPT Program Team in the delivery of education and training program activities as they relate to registrars training in South Australia. The Education Support Officer will be responsible for supporting a range of activities that are delivered either across South Australia or within an assigned region(s).
The role organises and coordinates registrar training activities including participation in core training events (central workshops, small group release and mandatory attachments) monitoring and assessment of performance and the review of training progress and compliance with Australian General Practice Training training policies and procedures.
