Education Support Officer

The Education Support Officer is responsible to the Manager Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) for the provision of support within the AGPT Program Team in the delivery of education and training program activities as they relate to registrars training in South Australia. The Education Support Officer will be responsible for supporting a range of activities that are delivered either across South Australia or within an assigned region(s).

The role organises and coordinates registrar training activities including participation in core training events (central workshops, small group release and mandatory attachments) monitoring and assessment of performance and the review of training progress and compliance with Australian General Practice Training training policies and procedures.
