The Overseas Trained Doctor National Education and Training (OTDNET) program

Originally set up to provide Overseas Trained Doctors (OTDs) with access to education and training, it was designed to support the learning needs of the individual towards gaining Specialist (General Practitioner) Registration. This program is no longer funded, but the 2015 cohort of the Adelaide to Outback GP Training Program (AOGP) is still supported.

Please note, the Department of Health has advised the OTDNET program is now closed and all enrolments have ceased. Under current transition arrangements, GPEx will continue to support OTDNET participants transferred from Adelaide to Outback General Practice (AOGP) training, until their completion of the program.
