Available position:
Education Support Officer

Please be aware, due to Government funding this is a contract role until December 2021.

The Education Support Officer is responsible for the provision of support within the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program Team in the delivery of education and training program activities as they relate to General Practice registrars in South Australia.

This role will be responsible for supporting a range of activities that are delivered either across South Australia or within an assigned region(s).  Duties will include:

  • Provide high-quality support related to the delivery of the training program and associated activities by telephone, email or in person, to registrars, general practices, supervisors and medical educators.
  • Arrange and coordinate education and training workshops and functions including Registrar, Practice Manager and Supervisor Workshops, clinical attachments, small tutorial group meetings, and clinical simulation training activities.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of the GPEx workshop program, teaching visits and a range of educational activities.
  • Maintain regular contact with registrars, supervisors and practice managers to ensure they have continued and up to date access to online resources.
  • Co-ordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

 

To succeed in this role you will be highly motivated, flexible and detail-orientated.

A background in administration will be required.

Available position:
IT Support Officer

Please be aware, due to Government funding this is a contract role until 31 December 2021.

Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Administration this position is responsible for;

  • Provisioning and setup of IT equipment for new GPEx employees
  • Ensure that the phone system is available and configured to support business requirements
  • Support and maintain video conferencing systems
  • Track and document inbound support requests and ensure proper notation of customer problems or issues
  • Escalate unresolved issues to applicable vendor and project manage to resolution for end-user
  • Provide training and basic instruction on tools and systems to ensure effective and efficient use
  • Assist the business to roll out new services, technology & software, or make changes to existing services.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need to work and communicate across teams and people from different positions at GPEx.

You will need to have experience working in network administration along with previous experience in a desktop/end-user role.

A deep working knowledge of Office365, SharePoint, Teams, Skype for Business, ZOOM is also a requirement.

Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Administration this position is responsible for;
• Managing reception, including our front office, main switch board and network systems
• Greeting and welcoming all guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Internal meeting organisation, managing two (2) boardrooms and three (3) meeting rooms
• Provision of all stationery and office supplies
• Facilities management, including three (3) kitchens
• General office administration, experience with the Microsoft suite, Office 365 (including Sharepoint) required.
